Website and Assessment Terms
These terms govern use of Elboniel’s public website, free assessment and consultation-request functions. They are separate from any Initial Consultation Agreement or Service Agreement.
1. Public website information
General website content, articles, checklists and automated form behaviour are provided for information and screening purposes and are not individualized immigration or citizenship advice.
2. Free preliminary assessment
The assessment questionnaire and resulting free screening summary do not constitute an Initial Consultation, a program-eligibility determination or a promise that Elboniel will accept a matter for representation.
3. Initial Consultation
Personalized immigration or citizenship advice is provided only after the applicable written Initial Consultation Agreement or other professional agreement has been entered into. A consultation request submitted through the website is a request for appointment times, not a confirmed professional consultation.
4. Consultation agreement, payment and scheduling
Where an Initial Consultation is requested, Elboniel will provide the applicable agreement for signature through its designated electronic-signature process. The agreement will describe the consultation scope, fee and other applicable terms. The appointment is confirmed only after Elboniel has received the signed agreement and required payment and has confirmed the meeting time.
5. Further professional services
Application preparation, representation, document review, ongoing case management and other immigration or citizenship consulting services require the applicable written Service Agreement or amendment before those additional services are provided.
6. User responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for your own legal and filing deadlines unless Elboniel expressly assumes a responsibility in a signed professional agreement.
7. Privacy and security
Personal information is handled in accordance with Elboniel’s Privacy Notice. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; submit only information reasonably requested through the relevant form.
8. Third-party services
Elboniel may use third-party services for functions such as electronic signatures, video meetings, payment, email or scheduling. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
9. Governing law
These public Website and Assessment Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to mandatory law that may apply.
